Yes, Easiest to get a job in St Thomas, Cheapest to live in St Croix. St Thomas is New York City with Palm trees, especially when the tourists off the Cruise Ships are there.

Sa_San
Sure you can. You don't need a visa to work in the USVI if you are a US citizen.

GJ
Did it for 5 years on St. Croix. It was amazing. Just a passport to get you back and forth.

Yes you can work in the Virgin Islands, like Puerto Rico, it is a US territory. If you decide to live in St. Thomas, be prepared for rush hour traffic. Yes if you live in certain areas and there are several cruise ships you will be stuck in traffic in so called paradise.

You do not need a Visa. However, if you are going to spend anytime in that area, I'd be sure you had a passport. Several of the islands by there are French, Netherlands, and British "owned" and will require a passport to visit them.

PurplePapaya
I don't understand... when you were typing "U.S. citizen" and "U.S. Virgin Islands" how did you not notice the U.S. in both phrases?
