Flying is the safest form of transport in the world! I try to fly whenever I travel! Aircraft have so many systems, they have back-up systems, and even the back-up systems have back-up systems. I have a close friend that is petrified of flying and she tells the flight crew that she is a nervous flyer. They try to place her in a part of the plane that has the least turbulence and momentum forces acting on it. She even spent half of a flight from Las Vegas to England in the cockpit once! Don't worry Aircraft are extremely safe! |

My boyfriend had the same problem and when he needs to fly, his doctor gives him a perscription for valium. Then he is nice and relaxed the whole flight. That may not be an option if you are traveling alone. |
