I have never been there personaly, but my dad and a couple friends of mine have gone at different times. They said it was not very expensive. And all of them said they would go again so it must be nice.
Hope you have a great time.

The Bahamas are just too expensive me me any longer. I will only put in somewhere in the bahamas if the weather makes it impossible for me to avoid them. They have almost priced the islands out of the reach of most cruising sailboats.

A 6 pack of the local beer is about $10 in Nassau at the convenience store just off the Prince whats-his-name docks and everything else is equally high priced.

That's why I live in Antigua

I went on that same exact cruise!! Not everything is expensive. getting hair braided is VERY expensive. its about 120 dollars for your whole head to be braided. Florida is expensive as far as bathing suits/surfing material. When I went to the grand Bahama island, ladies came up to you on the beach walking with beautiful bracelets/necklaces you could buy (price depending on seller) I bought mine for about 6 dollars. You are going to LOVE great stirrup cay! best stop on the cruise and by far.. favorite place i have ever been! HAVE FUN!
