West Indian like alcohol. You can't go wrong with that. Carry a bottle of something....usually rum or scotch. Can never go wrong with JOHNNY WALKER. |

I think you ought to know a little about her tastes first:
If she drinks alcohol then a bottle of Baileys, Red or White wine, Chardonnay, etc could be a nice gift
If she doesn't drinks alcohol well forget it!
If she collects stuff for her house a nice plant, picture, etc is nice
If she has her own tastes and her house is a particular colour scheme - expect the gift to go into a drawer or her friend who likes it
A nice piece on Jewelry may fascinate her, but the husband may give you looks to kill
Lingerie is totally out of the question
A book is a fabulous gift - but you need to know if she prefers a book on religion, gardening, food (this may be the best bet), arts, novels, etc
