I am leaving for Aruba this weekend for one week. Do I need dress clothes for dinner? Do I need a sweater?
Oh you lucky thing, it's lovely there! Take one or two nice dresses as I'm sure you'll want to dine in some of the fab restaurants but it's still quite laid back so leave the tiara at home!
And you may want to take a shawl or sweater as the nights can get a bit cool, also a brolly in case of a few showers. Have fun!

Casual is alright. If you go out to a very nice restaurant, you may want to go a little nicer, but dress clothes are not necessary. I think, if i remember correctly, that there is always a wind blowing, so maybe a sweater.

Casual clothes for the nicer places. weather is constantly about 82 all the time

Depends on where you're staying for dress clothes, but I can say the island is very casual. A few restaurants we ate at were a little more than just shorts and capri pants...there is a constant wind so at this time of year a light sweater maybe for the evenings, especially if you're sunburned. Watch the sun, you don't realize how hot it is with the wind. Have fun, I love it there!

Actually unless you plan to go to a fancy dinner/club. You don't need any dress clothes and definitely no sweaters. The weather is always a constant 80-85 degrees but not hot--breezy. If you can get those pants that unzip at the legs and are also shorts---perfect attire (guys or girls). Especially since you can not always get into your hotel right away and may need to hang out somewhere between the airport and then.

How do you feed about the kidnapping thing and sex slave ring? Check out my question and read some of the responses. I also updated my question. What do you think?

I would think dress clothes for dinner would be appropriate. A simple black dress would be good. I would take a lightweight sweater or wrap for the evenings. Be careful in Aruba.
