You may be able to babysit for a working neighbor on a permanent bases and be paid weekly.
If you can type and file you could locate a Temporary Agency (telephone book office work) . They will have jobs a variety of jobs to fill in for the staff who are on leave or out sick.
Sometime the Temporary Agency may be looking for someone to fill in and the office hires you full time.
There are many dressmakers in Jamaica, if you like to sew.
If you are willing to learn, you can be trained on the job and get paid while learning if you are a good worker.
There are many hotels, and there are jobs there.
Hairdressers and shops/stores need assistants.

Good luck. You can find something.
