To my Cuban greinds: When you send packages to Cuba wich is the best way or more reliable? Regular Mail? Courier? I'm not sending anything fancy, just a couple CD's and maybe chocolates for a friend of mine.
The best way to send any packages is via DHL courier. It will get there safely and will not take too long. Don't use regular mail as it may take too long. But courier has tracking and will for sure arrive in the condition you send it in.
Just so you feel confident as well in your safe and sure delivery, one of the links explains that DHL delivery from US to Cuba is not affected by any embargos.

DHL
Antillas-Express.com (a canadian company) we've used them to send things, letters, food, and even electronics.

As well as DHL, Copa also deliver to Cuba.

Don't use regular mail , your parcel will never
arrive at destination. There is also the embargo.
The only solution for Cuba is to use DHL courrier services. The only foreign courrier admitted in Cuba. Very reliable, fast, tracking service on the internet , only not cheap.
Don't include anything of value (money etc.)
every parcel is checked. Above a certain value
(I think 100-200 $ ) you need to include an invoice. I used it to send urgent medicines.
