Curacao has very beautiful beaches, and plenty to chose from. There are also plenty of other things to do on the island, and the weather is for the most part nice and sunny. very little rain and almost no storms.

here are some descriptions of the more popular beaches

Boriquen
The little island municipality of Culebra in Puerto Rico. It has what I believe are some of the worlds most beautiful beaches, like Flamenco Or Flamingo beach, Sony beach, Costa Brava, Sonbay, etc. Very small community, where many Americans have escaped to, as well as some Europeans, plus the local and mainland Puertoricans. You can tour many of other close islands by renting a Captain and boat. Don`t be surprised if you see some deer in the close island of Culebrita, where you can also visit a very old Light house. The deer were brought in by a German for local hunting. They have grown in numbers and are sometimes seen swimming between Culebra and Culebrita, I`m not sure if they`re hunted now. The locals are very friendly, the fresh seafood is delicious, visit the local Dhingy Dock, and have some Conch shell, Carrucho in spanish. If you just want to hang-out at a local beach and put up your mailbox I reccommend Sony beach, it`s beautiful and virtually empty you may run into one or three people there. Costa Brava is more for surfing since the ocean here is much rougher and the prices for hotels and food is reasonable. I also recommend traveling in groups, this island is very peaceful and you will most likely have no problems but I believe in keeping yourself safe and traveling in a group is a good safety measure. You can get there by flying to Puerto Rico and getting a ferry in San Juan to Culebra, (I don`t recall the price but you can find out from the Tourism Company in Puerto Rico) or travel to Fajardo, about 1 hour from San Juan and Isla Verde, by car and get the ferry there, it`s much more cheaper. It`s a very nice ride of about 1 to 1 and a half hours, travel on the top part of the ferry towards the back if you get seasick. During May you may also see whales and turtles visiting the island.

The best beaches I have been to are in the caribbean. Aruba and Grand Cayman had gorgeous beaches. However if you're looking to not travel so far, Myrtle Beach is quite nice as well.
