I want to go to Bermuda for my honeymoon. How can I save money?
I've searched the typical travel websites, but all come up with similar pricing for the hotel. We wanted to stay at either the Fairmont Southampton or Elbow Beach. We are planing on going from September 22nd to 28th. Are there any ways to get special deals for the hotel?
try sites like expedia.com redtag.com(its really good one) lastminute.com
You may not get the hotel you want, but you can get some beautiful last minute sales (you just have to be a bit flexible and a the type of person who can handle waiting til a sale hits without stressing)
Good luck, and congrats:D

If you've searched the typical websites and come up with the "same" rates, then that's probably what you're going to have to pay. Bermuda isn't known as a budget-friendly island.
You might try looking at TripAdvisor.com to see whether any of the hotels they have listed might suit your needs for less money. They have comments from past guests, so you can compare those aspects that are important to you with what others have experienced.

Bermuda is lovely but if you are looking to save money get a hotel that includes breakfast and then you can shop downtown in the grocery store for snacks and luncheon items. Plan on eating out once a day vs every meal. It is very expensive, Also, buy bus tickets to get around. The bus system is great.

There are some travel sites that have honeymoon registries. There is one we used called www.allkindsoftickets.com
They may not have special deals but you can set it up so that guests can help you pay for certin things. That would help you keep your costs down and have a great trip.
