I don't know what website you can try for flights only, but the Dominican Republic is NOT a gangster country! If you go to the capital, Santo Domingo, there are many nice hotels and there is a lot to do! I however do not recommend walking alone, especially at night. Do not wear any flashy jewelry and you'll be fine. Don't have oversized purses or anything like that. Trust me, I used to live in the Dominican Republic and its not as bad as people say it is. This country is very wealthy compared to others! Don't be surprised when you see Bentley and Lambo dealers, as well as people driving them. There are many beautiful locations that you may travel to, however, if you want flight only, I recommend Santo Domingo. If you want to go somewhere else it wouldn't be smart to be flight only because there is really nothing to do anywhere else.. The Dominican Republic has the most beautiful beaches in the world. You will enjoy it! Just e-mail me and I can tell you more! |

Hibs Nibs is a tard. The best way to go is book only flight, and look for a nice small hotel when you get there. Those all-in places are like prisons with buffet's.
