Enough of the Holloway stuff. Every place has things that have happened.

My wife and I just honeymooned in Aruba. We stayed at the Divi golf resort. There are a few Divi's on the island.

We walked from our room to either the pool-with a bar. Or right onto Eagle beach. Everything was great. Even the food at the gofl clubhouse was great. A "Mulligan's Mojito" is an experience. Remember it is an island so things are pricey.

We loved the Divi and would go back. Walk up the beach to Matthew's restaurant. If you get to Baby beach the snorkeling is easy as right off the beach and fun.

**** you all with the natalee holoway thing, Im a local and i must say NO LOCALS where involved in that case, It was that dumb blonde that takes rides with strangers, a dutch and 2 guys from suriname, So stop ******* about that. AND WE DID ACTUALLY TRY TO FIND HER, Military has send 3 F-16s with radars, Locals where giving a OFFICIAL off day to try and find natalee there was a big thing going on in the water with submarines so Get the **** over with it, it's not like People never get raped and murdered in the USA.

To be honest with you its really depends what you are gonna do here.
if you want to relax, I would recommend a Resort, they are really expensive but if your ONLY coming to relax then that's your best bet. I have stayed in Westin and its a good +. another resorts i'd recommend is the Radisson, it really nice. I wouldn't recommend Hyatt cause the hotel rooms are pretty small, if your coming with a GF or wife and no kids that maybe you can consider Hyatt. BUT something the travel agents don't tell you. These resorts don't have the best BEACHES. SUURREEE they have "white sand" but if you stay at like la Quinta or at Manchebo you will be SURPRISED at how white the beach can be. The water there is CRYSTAL CLEAR (when there isnt any waves). If you come to aruba for the beach, I'd recommend MANCHEBO. Seriously check it out. It's the best spot for a hotel on aruba. SRSLY. And it doesn;t smell like gasoline like at the other beaches because of those watersports boats. Now if your coming for like Not relaxing, Id recommend looking for an apartment they are really unexpensive and would suit you right. or if you really want to be an a hotel , Holiday Inn ISNT a bad hotel. It's really nice, I like the pool and the restaurant. They're breakfast is the BOMB. but i don't like the beach there. If you have any questions just email me and i'll respond :P

If you can afford it, the Hyatt is fantastic. The Travel Channel listed it as one of the ten best resorts in the entire Caribbean. I stayed there last June and I saw why it got such a high rating. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, the restaurants are outstanding, the rooms and the service are excellent, and there are loads of fun activities available right on the beach and through the on-site Red Sail Sports shop.

And for the Natalee Holloway case, people disappear every day in the United States, I don't see you guys making any fuss about that!! so stop making other people NOT go to Aruba just because of her, that was ONE unfortunate case that happened 4 years ago!!

And I'm not even from Aruba, I just think it's stupid that you want to boycott an Island that survives on tourism, just because ONE American girl went missing!!

I believe Natalee Hollaway was at the Holiday Inn. I'd find a better destination if I were you until their government actually makes an attempt at solving that case.
