The Virgin Island has many components to it so it depends on the Island....Ex: a person from St. Croix is call a Cruzan

It depends. If you are born and raised on any of these islands you will be used to referring to people as either Cruzans (from St. Croix), St. Thomians (from St. Thomas) or St. Johnians (from St. John). I rarely hear anyone in the states (have lived in Fl and DC) make an attempt to refer to anyone from the Virgin Islands as an anything i.e. islander, vigin islander, etc. I will usually hear them say well such and such was from St. Croix or from the Virgin Islands. They never try to classify what a person from there is.
Ignorant people will refer to anyone from the Virgin Islands as Virgins or Virginians.

I know for St. Croix, they call them cruzans (cru-cians), and from St. Thomas, I heard they were called Thomasians. I would think Virgin Islanders for the general term

People from the US Virgin Islands in general are called Virgin Islanders. People from St Croix are Cruzians; St Thomas - St Thomasonians; and St John - St Johnians.

The term Cruzian is widely used. The other two are hardly ever used or heard - probably because they're awkward.

People who move from the states to USVI are sometimes referred to as "continentals". In St Croix the unofficial rule is if a continetnal sticks around longer than two years they've adjusted to island living and deserve to be recognized as a Cruzian.
