Absolutely go if you can go legally. If you can go illegally go too. It's a fascinating country. I'm an American and I flew there through Jamaica. I went on an educational charter (before Bush stopped granting/renewing them). |

Fact: Americans CAN visit.
Fact: Cuban Americans cant visit other than about every 3 years. (Pathetic that the bastard Bush wont allow Cubans to see their families, unless illegally routed through Cancun/Caiman Islands- which is a complicated route and if you arent desperate then dont try it) |

Actually, Americans can't go there. But if it was possible, I would. I'd love to see Cuba, and Hemingway's house. Also to try real Cuban food. Maybe even find a gf. |

Well speaking as someone who is half Cuban and Canadian born I strongly suggest you take the opportunity. It is a beautiful country and a rich culture full of passion and unity. (ok so I am partial) ha-ha I am an American citizen now but I still have love for the maple leaf(canada). You have to go thru Canada or Mexico it is just safer that way. Good Luck Yohanna Ramirez
PS If all else fails go to Miami it is the same thing minus Castro (ha-ha) |

As a canadian who has been to cuba 5 times, I can tell you it is great. Oh, there are a lot of Americans in Cuba. Go to Mexico or Canada first then fly down. They don't stamp passports so its safe. |

So long as your entry is through Canada or Mexico, you can go without worry, and the Cuban officials won't stamp your passport. It's a beautiful place, with fabulous people. Go! |
