HELLOOOO!!!! I understand and respect your question. But if you do some research (if you are not familiar with Puerto Rico at all..) you will realize that PR is a US territory. Therefore you do not need a passport if you are traveling from US mainland to PR. But if you plan to visit other Caribbean islands you might need it.
It will be like traveling to any other state. Just have a state issued ID to check at the airline counter and go through the security checkpoint!
"These territories are a part of the United States. U.S. citizens returning directly from a U.S. territory are not considered to have left the U.S. territory and do not need to present a passport. U.S. territories include the following: Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands." |

No you don't. Puerto Rico is a U.S. Territory.
The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory. U.S. citizens returning directly from a U.S. territory are not considered to have left the United States and do not need to present a passport. U.S. territories include the following: Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

No, just a valid photo and drivers license. Puerto Rico is under American laws and only uses American currency. |

If you are a US citizen then Carchite has given you the right answer.
As long as you have a valid state ID you will be OK to come here. |

No passport required. Take your driver's license. Same is true with St Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. |

PR is US territory so as long a you travel from another US territory you wont need any passport, of course a valid driver license or other valid ID card might be helpful to prove you are really a US citizen. As you know airport security is very careful at all US airports these days. |

If you are traveling from the continental United States to Puerto Rico you do not need a passport since you havent left the United States. Puerto Rico is a commonwealth (territory) of the U.S. so if you fly from the U.S. and land in Puerto Rico without stopping abroad (another country) then you are not making an entry into the United States. In fact you wont even go through Customs or Immigration. |
