easier and cheaper as i would only need to own summer clothes all year round as it warm in the bahamas. i woulndnt have to buy anymore winter/autumn clothes!!!

well one good thing is when you pay for something thats the end of it, your not going to have to pay taxes on it later on, and there is no I R S there, how do i know? lol i live in the bahamas, trust me it's greatttt........

Em
My mum and step father lived there for several years.
Not much to do.
Snorkelling and diving, fishing all sound good but you don't want to do it all the time. When they were there the telly was non existent virtually. Its so hot that walking down the road it tough, but its nice when you go somewhere air conditioned. Theres not much in the way of wildlife, I guess frequent hurricanes chase the birds away.
The booze is really cheap and it often turns into the only to do in the evening.
Great for a holiday but i wouldn't want to live there

On the Sleigh (again!)
I'd still be an overweight alcoholic with a small willy, so not much different from now I guess.

Well, I live in the Bahamas so I can say that what Clint says about the "many" people living in shanty villages is not true..I mean there's poverty just like everywhere else but the Bahamas is DEFINITLY not a "poor country"...it's a pretty good place to live, not TOO much different from the US...it's not all fishing, snorkelling and taking it easy...we have lives(work and go to school) like everyone else...so...yeah lol

The grass always seems greener, i lived in Sydney for a while (back in the UK now), and to be honest after a while it didn't seem much different. I had to pay tax, still went to work, went to the laundrette, had to go shopping, budgeted money etc etc. After a while even the sun got boring, i was so excited the first day i saw rain after 6 months of living there that i went ouside to get wet!!!

People should actively improve the place where they already live rather than fantasising about life being better elsewhere.

depends if you are one of the many who live in the disgraceful shanty areas.Seen them in the passing.
