Im going to cuba on 25 december for holiday and im worry about crime can you please advice me ?

Oh mi amigo, L'Antipodien...........that is so not true about Cuba and you know that....we all know you love the DR because of your profession there and living there.

Cuba is one of THE SAFEST places in the world. Naturally you'll always need to smart wherever you travel in the world....Cuba has pick-pocketers...which is the most of what can happen...and that is IF...IF you're acting like a tourist and flaunting gold around, then that's not being smart and would only be tempting a few.

Cayo Coco is VERY safe. I travel there. But Cayo Coco is off the mainland and is a 45 minute to the main town of MorÃ³n, as Riki said already. You won't have anything to worry about there at all.
You never hear of violent crimes against foreigners. It's almost unheard of.
Read this link carefully. You have nothing to be afraid of in Cuba.

Cuba is one of the safest destinations you wil ever find. I'm going december 5th, it wil be my 10 th visit with absolutely no problems and that included roaming around in Havana and Trinidad after dark. I've been to Cayo Coco staying at Blau Colonial and really enjoyed the area. Relax and enjoy, you are in for a real treat. edit: anyone who says it isn't safe hasn't been to Cuba. The resorts at Cayo Coco are somewhat isolated and about an hours drive from Moron the closest city chances are you won't even be there unless you take a day tour. Again you wil have no problems. I lived for some years in the DR and from experience can advise you Cuba is much safer.

He is dead wrong. Cuba is the safest place in all of Latin America. Do a google search on Crimes in Cuba. Serious crimes are rare, and even more rare against tourists. Sure you're going to find petty crime anywhere, use your common sense, don't flash around your money, don't wear your diamonds, stay out of dark places at night etc
