What's to worry about?

UK immigration isn't nearly as bad as American!
I travel to America alot, and i always get pulled aside for random bag searches and i've no idea why! I'm just a normal,24 year old girl haha.

Miss Ramsay
Don't worry be happy, You are travelling in transit as long as you have your onward ticket and you are only staying for twenty four hours, their should be no problems, you don't even need a visa, they make keep you in the in transit lounge until you next flight to Switzerland is ready.

Vic
As long as you have your passport and you onward ticket to switzerland there shouldn't be a problem.

Our immigration is good but not ridiculous. although often they will not let you leave the airport even if there is a few hour gap between flights.
HOpe all goes well

You should be OK because you are not staying in England,What they might do is keep you in the in transit lounge until your flight to Switzerland is ready, you must have have a onward ticket to Switzerland.

Do not worry I go to switzerland from US and back quite a lot and I must say that the customs are yes pretty strict but if you can be polite and calm and have the right papers you should not worry about anything. Make sure you do not bring in anything that the customs would confiscate, especially be precise with the swiss representatives, they can be pretty strict and precise. And since you will come from Jamaica, make sure you dont bring in anything illegal... know what i mean? Also make sure you explain what's your purpose and if you need a visa (I dont know your nationality, so) get it right. Other than that bon voyage
