I am planning a trip for a cruise and I need to find out what Jamaica is actually listed under?? Or better yet how I would search for Jamaica on the cruise websites?
Please only answer if you can answer the question.

it is Western caribbean. most ships departing to the western caribbean area leave from miami, or port canaveral...
western caribbean cruises usually go to cozumel, jamaica, cayman islands, etc
Eastern caribbean cruises usually depart from san juan and go to the small islands like martinique, st thomas, etc. |

You can search for Jamaica or Ocho Rios or Montego Bay. The last 2 are popular tourist destinations for Cruise Ships. Many ships that sail the western Caribbean will dock there... as well as Cayman Islands and Cozumel. |

Search under western caribbean cruises. I just went to Jamaica on a Carnival Cruise out of Galveston. The Carnival Conquest. The Rhapsody of the Seas goes there too, I think. I went on that one a couple of years ago and preferred it to the Conquest. If you are planning a cruise I definitely recommend Royal Caribean over Carnival or Princess... Also- try cruisebrothers.com. I love this website!!! |

Most cruise ships go to Ocho Rios or what Bob Marley would have called the concrete jungle . Fly there go to Negril and see what Jamaica is really like . |

Jamaica is located 90 miles south of Cuba. there is only one area of the world which is called the Caribbean.
What you could do is look at the routes that the cruises take and see if Jamaica is listed. some Caribbean cruises do not stop in Jamaica so if you really want to go there then check the route closely. |
