I would say yes That Cuba is a very Nice Honeymoon destination would nice Resorts at affordable prices.
Planning Your best friends honeymoon is really very exciting. Isn't it? It is perhaps the most beautiful experience in her life.But the place you send her to does matter a lot. The environment and the landscapes make her mind fresh and she begins a new phase of her life. So send her to Cuba. It will be the perfect place for Her and Her New Hubbie. Cuba Honeymoon destinations are very exotic in nature.

Santa Maria
Varadero
all have wonderful resorts with lovely beaches

If Cuba is her dream destination then she will love it.

Just make sure that you book 4.5 stars and up in Cuba since their standards are lower.

Cayo Coco has amazing beaches, but not much else to do, so if that's what they like then they will enjoy it.

However if you think they would like the option to go into town and have a bit more to do, go with Varadero.

if your a cuban who cant get off the island and has no other choice than to have fidel call the caterer , yes , im sure it is .. but for cinderella and prince hubbie coming for thier fantasy island wedding dream vaca while the natives are living in a hellish nightmare they cant get divorced from ........?/? cinderella and prince hubbie wont get any rides on that pumpkin carriage on habanas streets these days but they may enjoy watching thier chauffeur get pulled from the horse cart and hauled away to fidel camp while the royal party is left there in the middle of the street staring at the back of a clueless pony (im very serious ). .....use your judgement and sensitivity...... suerte!

An excellent choice, Cuba offers so much, beautiful beaches, incredible scenery, history and wonder full welcoming people.Varadero has dozens of excellent resorts, as also Cayo Coco and Holguin. My favorit resort is Sol Melia Luna y Mares, Guardalavaca which you reach by flying into Holguin. Luna y Mares offers a picture perfect beach, excellent dining and lots to do. Check the links for lots more information. I'm sure your friend and her hubby will thoroughly enjoy Cuba. be sure to check tripadvisor for reviews by other tourists.

I did not know that they had lifted the restriction for American Citizens to travel to Cuba. If you are an American Citizen you need to check with your Clerk of the Circuit Court's Office and see if travel to Cuba is now permissible.
