Ecke yea, Jamaican food is very spicy. All most every Jamaican recipe call for pepper and fresh seasonings. I sure love Jamaican food especially curry goat and jerk pork and jerk chicken. My parents are Jamaicans. |

Its Very Hot In Jamaica
|
How you mean?! It is, perfect example your local KFC and the ones here will taste totally different, intl fast food chains have to season meals to our liking else they don't do too well like McDonalds.
Its not as spicy as Mexican food but it sure is peppery |

Yup but I would say more flavorful. Tropical climate is a lot more conducive for most herbs and spices so I guess thats why the food has alot more flavor |

Yep. I had a few friends from Connecticut here last year for example, and I gave them 'Rice and Peas & chicken' one of our favourite dish, they enjoyed it, but indicated that it was indeed spicy.

Jamaican food tends to be a wee bit more spicy then American food. But it's nothing compared to other foods in the world (Indian, Thai etc...) |

Not all dishes in Jamaica calls for spicy peppers. We do cook with a lot of seasonings for a flavorful meal, compared to some Americans who just use salt and pepper, if any. |

Jamaica food is colorful and spicy...like the Jamaican people. Nothing about Jamaica is bland. Everything is literally technicolor, including the foods. |
