In Puerto Rico you can do many different things, from diving to swimming. Romantic sunsets and sunrises, delicious dishes, wonderful drinks, nice, friendly and welcoming people.

Puerto Rico is awesome, depending on where you go.
Typically with a cruise, you will be in San Juan Area. Old San Juan has the old spanish aritecture, so it has that european look and feel.
The only downside of a cruise is that like any other port, you will be bombarded with people trying to see stuff when you get off, but it is way better than many other carribean locations. Puerto Rico temperture is around 75-85 all year round, but the winter/early spring months are the wave season (loved by surfers), so the ocean is alot rougher than the summer time.
Avoid the tourist locations like Senior Frogs- overpriced for the amount of money. Try the local food vans and vendors, much cheaper and alot tastier.
The beaches on the NW corner are amazing in the town of Aguadilla, such as Boriquen Beach , Crash boat , and Hobos Beach. Plus this is not a high tourist area, so people are much friendlier.

My friend has been there multiple times on vacations.She enjoys it there. It has nice beaches and some areas has really clean crystal clear water to swim in. It has a rain forest and a market place at I think Old San Juan. You should try visiting it. I might go this summer.

Marrying My Hubby Again 9/09!

Puerto Rico and ST Thomas (US Virgin Islands) are both good caribbean choices for vacations that do not require passports.
I took my husband to Puerto Rico last year, and he LOVED it.
We went to the rainforest and did all the typical touristy things and had a blast.
best week we've had in a long time!
Try booking your hotel through hotwire.
We got a 4 star hotel for a VERY nice price... Basically "across the street" from the rainforest!
Also, if you are into beautiful beaches, you have to schedule a trip to Flamenco Beach, in Culebra.
It's the true description of Caribbean Paradise... Clear blue water, white sandy beach, plenty of shaded spots to relax in the cool breeze...*sigh*
Can't wait to do it again soon!

Well, I never been but my mom and dad went on their honeymoon and they said that it was beautiful and that is was a good place to go. So if its good enough for a honeymoon than it should be nice for a cruise.

Jamiaca and Puerto Rico are sweet places to go on vacation...but imma have to go with Puerto Rico cause i've already been to Jamaica cause i'm Jamaican lolz. So For me PR would be really new so, go 'head girly xD

I'm from Puerto Rico, and I so wanna get out of here.
It is a nice place for vacations, my favorite parts of the island are Aguadilla, and Lajas... they have great sights, you can do lots of stuff. San Juan is *ah*. Don't spend more then 6-7 days... hotels are expensive, and you won't find any nice hotel for less than $99 (try Hotwire), and there are no cheap rooms options like Quality Inn, though there are, just that they are really expensive. Hmm... overrall... don't worry about crimes, just about robs... What else? It's a cheaper Cancun or Hawaii XD

Puerto Rico was one of the stops on a cruise we took, and it was okay. I was shocked to see signs advertising cock fighting, though. There's a cool fort in San Juan. Stick to the touristy areas.
