You've answered your own question, you've spoiled him and he will use you for everything he can get out of you, I have heard about too many couples trying this and they both don't want to compromise and the in the long run it goes down hell anyway.
Have a long serious talk with him and let him know exactly how you feel and you're at the point that you want the both of you to live in the same country and most of all the same house if that's what you're going for, give him a deadline and if nothing happens, then you need to move on with your life. But please don't just leave him, make sure you talk about it and consider all different avenues and options before you let it go.

as man i go tell he have it nice, woman who does only come for ah while and he cud run he route while yuh eh here. DJ yuh say ...ooooh gaaaad oh ah well know bout dat field cause i used to do dat.

Why are people blaming him? It's obvious that You don't want to live in Trinidad and he wants to live in Trinidad. That's the root cause of these issues. If neither of you can compromise (which it appears is the case), then it obviously can't work.

How does that make him scared of commitment? It's clear he knows what he wants, and it seems you know what you want, but you two have different desires.

And whoever said that people doh work in Trinidad is an idiot. Having a relaxed society does not mean people don't work, don't generalise people like that, it makes you look stupid. Same goes for the person who saying all DJs aren't faithful.

In order for any relationship to work you both have to want to live in the same area. You can't build on it miles away unless you have plans to finally live close.

I agree with the "if you ask me" you are probably being played and not know it. my sister dated a DJ for sometime as well, but they are not faithful, be careful,good luck!!

I know what you are going through. Been there, done that! He is not going to come up here. They love that party scene that T & T has. When we have to work our asses off up here, they are always having limes and some public holiday or the other. He likes the fact that you are a visitor and your visits are usually scheduled, so he can have another life around you. Move on, that's what I did and it was the best decision that I ever made.

If he won't figure out what he want to do then, forget it. Just remember he is in TNT the life over there is different than over here. Yeah we make money but the life style isn't the same, and that scares away men. So just talk to him about it and find out what he wants to do, and then let him know that you feel you guys should just be friends.
