San Juan, PR is also a territory of USA.
I do not know why we would want to keep San Juan, Puerto Rico though. I think we should give it back . LOL.
St. Thomas is a keeper . Worth the trouble. Enjoy the islands. |

There are many Virgin Islands, St. John, St. Thomas, and St. Croix belong to the U.S. St. Martin / St. Maarten is half owned by the Dutch and is part of the Netherland Antilles ( St. Martin ). Half is owned by the French ( St. Maarten ). The rest, the smaller ones, are privately owned. |

There is the US Virgin Islands...which is like Puerto Rico. The US technically owns it but it runs independently of the US.
The US Virgin Islands have their own Olympic teams. And Tim Duncan who was born there played for Team USA instead and the NBA claims him as a foreign born player. |
