i spent alot of money for us to go there, because of what i heard of it being nice,, we are only 40 yrs old,, it was alot of older people visiting and we went for 10 days,, i thought it was awful would never go back it was boring,,and not worth it at all,,, beaches were full of jelly fish , people getting stung
we did just get back from dominican republic (punta cana)
for the 3rd time and it is always awsome you cant go wrong by going there beleive me,, nice people great beaches good food |

I've been to Antigua once about 4 years ago and found it to be very boring. Other than the beaches (and they are wonderful), and swimming with the dolphins there is nothing much to do.
Not many tourist attractions or touristy things to do. |

I have heard many people saying it is a boring island just like it is name Antigua=Antique. that of course the beaches are fascinated nothing else. But i still wanna go myself at least for 2 days.

Antigua is a great island to visit. What did I like most, it has the 365 beautiful beaches, one for everyday of the year.
I bought the most beautiful emerald earrings in one of the jewelry stores. Great shopping.
check out Shirley Heights. Thursday and Sunday, steel drums, festive atmosphere, food,views and incredible sunset. Great outing.
Go and enjoy.) |

It was one of my favorite places in the Carribean. The beaches are fantastic. The locals are friendly. The towns are quaint. I stayed at a Sandals there. It was the best all inclusive I have been to. Champagne in the hot tub at night, beaches by day...We took a day trip to Monserrat to see the volcano. It was a tear jerker because of the damage, but the people were so strong. They really put things in pespective. I would go back in a minute! |
