There is no good time to go to Aruba.. Aside from the way they handled the murder of a young college girl, it maybe the ugliest of all the Islands. Flat, dry and windy..Many oil tankers are always visable out in the sea. There are so many other Islands to chose from, whether you want night life and casinos(San Juan, Martinique) or beautiful beaches and seclusion(British Virgin Islands, or great snorkelling and diving(British Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Belize). No one should support a country that did what they did.. |

August is the perfect time to go to Aruba. Highs each day in the high temperatures in the low 90's F. and low temperatures right around 80 degrees F.
Rainy season, on an island which receives an average 25 inches of rain per year, runs October to January. Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are considered by many to be too far south to be affected by hurricane season. Although the possibility always exists.
For something young and fun, try the Tamarijn or Holiday Inn SunSpree. |

Weather wise Aug. is hurrican season March-late Oct., but most travle agents offer hurrican insurance, from $50-$100, so you can get your money back if one does occur while you are there or on the days you booked. As far as a good place to stay I don't know cause I've never been. It would also depend on your peronal wants, needs. Try applevacations.com it's the cheapest and best web site I have found so far. The prices include flight also if you want. Just do a search from the airport of your choice, date you want to go, and how many people are going to aruba. It will give you a list of resorts and the price each one. You can also look at what the resorts have to offer i.e. resurauts, water activies, nigh activities and will so pics.
Hope this helps....Have FUN! |

I say don't go to aruba pick another place to go. They allowed an America to be murdered and because the guys that raped and killed her had connections they let them off. That place dosen't deserve our money. |

August is a good time to go. I would go to the Wyndam, there is always something to do there. They have a bunch of resteraunts, a nice casino, a huge pool, and they always have some activity going on. It is near th other resorts, so there is a lot to do. Of coarse downtown would be the best place if you want to have fun, but there aren't any hotels there |

August is a good time to go. It will be hot, but ARuba is out of the hurricane zone. There is not a lot to see on the island, but they have great beaches, hotels, casinos, great restaurants and nice people.
We stayed at the Mariott and it is a great place. The Radissons are also great. One is downtown and the otehr is ouside the city on the beach. |

CLIMATE
Aruba enjoys a very healthy climate, making it a year-round paradise for residents and visitors alike. The average temperature is 82ºF (28ºC), with cooling trade winds and the rarity of tropical storms and hurricanes. Aruba lies outside the hurricane belt therefore the rainfall is very moderate, averaging about 16.1" (408.9 mm) per year.
Where to stay
Aruba is known as an island that caters both to the affluent traveler and to those looking for a more moderately priced vacation.
Luxury high rise hotels provide opulent surroundings, excellent service and numerous comforts. Many of the low rise hotels are characterized by a homey feel, gorgeous pools, casual and theme party style dining and splendid service.
For those that want something special, Aruba offers luxurious private properties where you can have complete seclusion and your own private beach.
Villas are ideal for groups, especially those with interests in activities such as windsurfing.
If you're on a tight budget or planning on an extended stay, Aruba's spacious apartments can provide you with affordable accommodations all year round.
After you have made your choice of accommodations, select the online reservations button to book your hotel or vacation package from a wide variety of tour operators and wholesalers |
