No! Barbados is NOT in the Caribbean, Barbados is actually in the Atlantic ocean, (use ur geography skills before you answer ppls) Barbados is considered a Caribbean island because the other island along with Barbados all shared the same slavery tribe. But the waters which wash Barbados shores is not Caribbean its Atlantic. |

Yes.
Some might say it's too far out in the Atlantic for that, but it's one of "those" islands north of Venezuela. |

Barbados is indeed part of the Caribbean. It is the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands situated at 13° 6' N, 59° 37' W. Although it's a dot on most maps it's swept by the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. It's location and topography accounts for it's unique history as part of the old colonial British West Indies. |

Absolutely! Barbados is part of the Caribbean, it belongs to the southern region, the Lesser Antilles.
On the Offical site of tourism in Barbados, they have a major subtitle, "The authentic caribbean is calling." http://www.visitbarbados.org/default.aspx
According to the CIA fact book, Barbados is located in the.... :Caribbean, island in the North Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Venezuela.
On another site, it also states: Barbados is the most eastern island in the Caribbean, and is a tiny dot on most world maps with an area of 430 square kilometres ( http://www.funbarbados.com/ ) |
