I heard it told that one of the things that used to annoy the Soviets was that whenever Castro did anything, the US would assume that he was acting on Moscow's orders, when often he would be acting independently.
In any event, it must be at least 16 years since anyone could really argue that Cuba was a Russian puppet (which sadly indicates how out of date is some of the information that is being posted here.) |
