Is flying to San Juan from the U.S. a domestic or international flight?
It is a domestic flight if coming from the continental USA:
"Puerto Rico, a commonwealth of the U.S. offers the best of a tropical island steeped in authentic Latin culture with the benefits of being a domestic destination, English is widely spoken and the currency is the U.S. dollar" (www.gotopuertorico.com, 2007).

It is a domestic flight (if you are a US citizen or legal permanent resident).
You just need a valid state issued ID

OK I used to work for US airways just a few months ago. This is a domestic flight because Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the US. However, sometimes (not usually) this flight will take off from an international section of the airport, but if it does, do not worry b/c you do not need to go through any international procedures. You do not need a passport, just state ID or drivers license. ENJOY!!
