Welcome TriniSoccer, unlike popular belief, Iguana is not the main meat in our beautiful twin island state. it is actually chicken (or as Julien said KFC), pork, fish, beef and lamb.

however if you feeling for exotic then for sure, feel free to try the iguana, lappe, tattoo, pigeon, monkey, horse, gouti, manicou, etc (not that i would be able to tell you how any of them taste)

nah man de main meat is KFC 'guana is ah lil exotic. Yuh should try de curry duck, curry tatto, lappe, gouti, deer but doh ask fu dem now nah hunting season close and yuh cud get yuh **** lock up if yuh in possesion of dem meats.

NO. You know what I does enjoy....watching them Americans having them as pets. All I does say is "it eh ha no Trini's living close by or wha, them thing woulda be in man belly arready!!!

Dis question had meh confused for a while, oui. hehe. I've actually never had iguana, believe it or not. Yes, I know...allyuh must be saying what kinda Trini she is, boy? I hear it does taste rel boss, though. I just ain't very adventurous. lol!

nah man, yuh joking...lol. wild meat such as iguana, tattoo, sali, turtle, lap, cocrico, alligator etc are all delicacies here in the caribbean. we also eat regular meat like chicken, crab, shrimp, goat, pork, beef lamb etc.

We refer to iguana as "wild meat" and no its not the main meat, the main meat is universal - Chicken, followed by beef, lamb, pork, turkey, duck, etc

Iguana however is a delicious tasting meat (once cooked correctly) It can be curried or stewed down with coconut milk. Its best served with provisions and dumpling.

I am from Trinidad and I have never once in my life eaten Iguana, and I never intend to either. Iguana is NOT the main meat in Trinidad, just some people in Trinidad would eat anything that moves, they do like if they starving or something, eating all kind of things, some of these things are not healthy to eat, and when they die from it, they say "he was a strong man, what happened?"

The main meat is Chicken, followed by goat, duck, beef and pork. But yes, some people do eat lambee, manicou, iguana, aligator, dolphin, etc.

PPl eat it yes. I eh so brave. I wouldn't say iguana is the main meat. It have lappe, tattoo, "gouti", deer, but dese days is anything dey get dey eating.

No pal,Iguana is not the main meat in Trinidad it's chicken sorry to bust your bobble,but we do eat it, curry down with coconut milk and serve with dumplins and yams, yes Trinidad is relly a nice place not to many beautiful beaches but you can get those nice beaches in Tobago, Trinidad is night life and carnival beautiful women any where you look i tell you boy it's a great place to be.

No. It is NOT the MAIN meat. It is rare that it is eaten. You are more likely to eat curry chicken, duck, or goat. Try my favorite snack....doubles....yum!
