If your American, you can't go to Cuba from America. You would have to go through another country.
I find it disappointing, however, that someone would consider vacationing in a country like Cuba.
In a country, where your money is going to fund the oppression of people. In a country, where people's beliefs and lifestyles have been suppressed for almost half a century. In a country, where the government is so oppressive and tyrannical that my family had to leave. In a country, that forces people into work camps, so there family can flee to a better life (like mine).
It is interesting isn't it. How some people are such hypocrites that they on one hand go to church or give to charities and on the other hand fund governments like those of Fidel Castro. I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to people who vacation in these places.
So yea, you can go to Cuba. |

No, but it should. The fact that something is not illegal doesn't make it right
When you visit Cuba as a tourist, your money would help the evil brothers to stay in power, oppressing our country
I agree with Mario. He is totally right |

Depends on where you live.
If you live in the U.S. it is.
But if you leave here and go somewhere else, you can get there from that location.
But then you would have to back track. You can't get there from here.
And can only get here from there on a raft, if the coast guard don't catch you first. |

I would say more, but it looks like an answer was deleted. The one from a member called "elgaby"

It is not illegal to visit Cuba. Even if you are an American citizen |

No it is not illegal to visit Cuba.
Even if one is a US resident, it is still not illegal to visit Cuba...what is illegal for US residents is to spend money in Cuba without a travel licence.
So if you're in the US and will not be getting a travel licence to go to Cuba directly from the US (which IS possible as there are flights on a daily basis to and from Cuba and the US), then you would need to go via a 3rd country.
Here is some information on how to do this.
