Is it normal to take a random "vacation" to Puerto Rico during a 3-day break in my summer work, alone?

I love flying and traveling, and never been to someplace like PR before, so I was wondering if it's normal for someone to do that alone, just for a few days!

Sure, go ahead and meet some of those nice brunette in thong ladies that are always in PR's beaches.

Why not? You can do whatever you want if you have the money. You might have more fun if you invite a friend, but it isn't a problem if you want to go alone. As long as you have a passport, you should be good to go! Have fun!

I went alone last week. If you don't mind eating alone, it's ok. (No one attempted to make friends with me, but I don't party) Even in the rural areas you will find people who speak English. The currency is the same. The food is awesome!! If you are going to San Juan they have surfing beaches all along the coast. Try going to Kasalta Bakery. It was so good that I kept the phone # 727-7340/6593. It is where the locals go for breakfast and lunch!! A few of the employees speak English. My Verizon cell phone worked everywhere I went and It did not cost more than in the states. I went to Luquillo Public Beach for a day, it was beautiful and you can walk out as far as you can see from the beach. Take a snorkel. Eat at a roadside Pork BBQ. I ate all local food and did not get sick at all. (Unlike in Mexico). Overall, I would recommend it!!
