Please MAKE SURE you DO NOT let people know you are from AMERICA. Your citizenship should be revoked!

No Jamaica is not part of the US. Jamaica is its own independent island, and you will need a passport in order to go.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaica

The only Jamaica in the U.S. that I know of is a part of Queens, New York. The island is a nation of its own.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaica,_Queens

Tucker
No it is not. Jamaica is its own independent island, and you will need a passport in order to go.

Sa_San
No. It's part of the West Indies

Lola
No.

It is a seperate country. Do you have a passport?

Nasty Nick
No. Independent Island Nation.

Jason B
Nope;
It is an island nation of the Greater Antilles

SAM

No. Jamaica is an island in the caribbean. Not at all affiliated with the US. It's also NOTHING like the US so be prepared for a shock. If you don't even know where it is I can't imagine how you'll manage even going!

I just got a good laugh.

Thank you.

No its not. It is Independent.
An island is a piece of land surrounded by water, but Jamaica is not part of the US.

Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean. It is not a US territory. It is a separate country with its own government. Please don't ask such a question when you get to Jamaica. Even the poorest, most uneducated child in the streets would react in shock that you know so little about the US, which I assume is your country. If you are very young or if you are not American, then you are forgiven.

No, it is an island in the Caribbean. This is where Usain Bolt-the 100 and 200 meters Olympian gold medalist came from. It seems that there is another one in the US so you should be more specific in saying which one.

Jamaica is independent and it's not apart of the u.s.

Jamaica although only 11/2 hrs from Miami , is and old English colony. Jamaica is not a US island, but the culture is heavily influenced by US culture along with the Jamaican factor. You, now require a passport to travel to Jamaica too.

Jovon M
no it is not i am a jamaica myself
and we have been indepent for many decades from britian

Jamaica is well known. You should know this answer already or at least google it. Jamaica is a country it's own island. You'll need a passport to go there. U.S. dosen't own everything.
