No Jamaica is not part of the US. Jamaica is its own independent island, and you will need a passport in order to go.

The only Jamaica in the U.S. that I know of is a part of Queens, New York. The island is a nation of its own.

No. Jamaica is an island in the caribbean. Not at all affiliated with the US. It's also NOTHING like the US so be prepared for a shock. If you don't even know where it is I can't imagine how you'll manage even going! |

Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean. It is not a US territory. It is a separate country with its own government. Please don't ask such a question when you get to Jamaica. Even the poorest, most uneducated child in the streets would react in shock that you know so little about the US, which I assume is your country. If you are very young or if you are not American, then you are forgiven. |

No, it is an island in the Caribbean. This is where Usain Bolt-the 100 and 200 meters Olympian gold medalist came from. It seems that there is another one in the US so you should be more specific in saying which one. |

Jamaica although only 11/2 hrs from Miami , is and old English colony. Jamaica is not a US island, but the culture is heavily influenced by US culture along with the Jamaican factor. You, now require a passport to travel to Jamaica too. |

Jamaica is well known. You should know this answer already or at least google it. Jamaica is a country it's own island. You'll need a passport to go there. U.S. dosen't own everything.
