Yes Bahamas is warm during the winter, but it can get cool. It is not very far from Florida, so when Florida gets cool, so does Bahamas.
I was their once when it dropped down to about 10 degrees. It was too cool to swim.

Most of the time you will have nice warm weather but if the eastern part of the USA is in a cold snap so will the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and Bermuda. I was there when it was 40 degrees and it was much to cold to swim. We were there in January. If you go in end of February or March it will be warmer. December is good too.

Most of the time it is beautiful out here! I live on Paradise Island during the winters and it's beautiful. It sometimes gets a bit cooler at night than you would expect so it's good to have a sweatshirt with you, but you will still enjoy your vacation!
