Is the airport an issue while staying at Sandals Montego Bay?
I'm booking a trip there and understand it is very close to the airport. Has anyone stayed there? I'm interested to see how much of an annoyance the planes flying over happen to be.
Not much of an issue AT ALL. I havn't heard any complaints from visitors. i certainly had no problems with it.

I don't believe it's an issue. And you'll get to enjoy more of your vacation because you're not busy traveling to a neighboring parish. And it's not as busy as one of the State's International Airports.

Never stayed there but had a friend who did he said that you could hear the planes but after awhile you got used to it. We stayed sandals negril, it was great it took about hour and half in a van to get there but dont listen to everyone else while the ride was a little scary and we hit a guy on a bicycle, but it was very interesting you get to see some interesting towns and such along the way so its up to you

lol trust me u will be so caught up in all the fun, activities and relaxation that u will for get theres an airport nearby. an i doubt theres any annoyance.

Personally I think Sandals Ocho Rios is nicer.However, it's a 2 hour drive from the airport. Negril looks nicer I haven't stayed there though...it's on my list.
Drove by Sandals Montego going to Ocho Rios....it didn't impress me. It looked small and looked like a regular hotel.
