Is the beach still warm enough in late September- early October?

I'm going to Puerto Rico the 25th of September, for a week, and we are interested in going snorkeling in Flamenco Beach, Culebra that weekend...
Is the water still warm enough at that time of the year, or am I going to freeze my butt off if we go?
Additional Details
BTW-
I'm from Florida, and April-May water temperatures here are freezing to me, and I wouldn't venture into the water in September-October, here...
But, seeing as it is in the Carribean, I figured it would be a bit better...
Is it freezing to those living in Puerto Rico? (in Sept-Oct)

It will be absolutely perfect. The average temperature is about 89 degrees and in the sun it is MUCH warmer! The water temp will be about 83 degrees. Really, compared to the States, it is summer here all year round. Even in Dec/Jan, the water temp is great- warmer than it ever was in NJ in the summer!

It will feel wonderful and refreshing after sunbathing.

My tip-
Wear a T-shirt while sunbathing or you will end up with a nasty burn on your back! You lose track of time as you snorkel and the water feels great and the sun beats down on your back.....

Usually at this time of year, the beaches are cool, but the high temperatures that we are having are keeping the waters warm. I haven't been to the beach recently, but as I go by Condado and Isla Verde area where the beaches are, there are people in the water and at early in the morning too. The temperature here is ranging from 85 to 95 degrees, so that keeps the water warm. But I know that someone whom have been recently at the beach will surely answer your question soon.

You are not going to freeze, even if the water temp drops a bit because it is not the middle of the summer, you are still in the Caribbean and the water is always warm. Locals may say that it is freezing but everything being equal, to them it is. In a nut shell it will never get like in Jersey or Calif.

Nooo! I just came today from the beach. My life has always been on the ocean, my family have boats so its a year round thing for us to go to the beach and wonder at the ocean, or even go fishin and snorkeling and scuba diving in Culebra definantly is a must.

And by the way its a perfect date! But sun is at its hottest. I have a sunburn today and last week... not that good!

Anyway i hope u enjoy ur stay and trully going to be on one of the best beaches in PR!! I was there to Culebra on May!

no the temperture its warm .!!!!!!!!

Puerto Rico Insider
It will never be too cold to enter the water in Puerto Rico. The water temperature is always nice, and the weather is almost always cooperative. In fact, swimming in a nice rain is one of the nicest experiences you can ever have.

Enjoy your trip. :)
