I'm sure there is but it's VERY underground. Jamaicans aren't very tolerant of gays. People get killed for that here. That said I'm sure you wont have too hard a time meeting gays vacationing here at resorts.

Wrong move!!. There are indeed gay people in Jamaica, but there is not a 'gay community'. Unless u know of another gay person, who will show u around and introduce you to other gays, u WILL NOT find it easy to meet gay people. People are not openly gay here. Most Jamaicans ARE NOT accepting of gay lifestyles so be warned.

there is a very big one but they are not keen at all on open gayness (not meaning to sound rude), however being a tourist you may be able to get away with it. Most gay jamaicans keep it undercovered it is not easy to meet other gays unless they are other tourists...i dont mean to sound rude but my family is from jamaica and i dont want to give a deluded vision of how it is but rather be honest...you will have a lovely holiday mind you...and you might be lucky and manage to meet the 'secret' gay community and find someone..either way hope you enjoy your holiday

honey hell no. if you know what your doing. you have to be careful cause they hit out against it bad. unless you want to come back in a body bag i say, make sure you know what you doing and be careful. i know that they have private bashment parties but i can't say where cause i don't know. but you have some of they gays who aren't scared to show it back home a just you have to know how fi flex.

Alot of people in Jamaica hate gays but there are gay Jamaicans. You just have to know where to find them. So have fun and be careful !
