Rastafarianism is a religion. You have to do research and get educated about the subject. Getting dreadlocked hair isn't what makes you a rasta.

Catwhiskers
Im not a rastafarian but a few pointers are; stop cutting your hair, become vegetarian and learn all about the Eithiopian emperor Haile Selassie. It is his teachings that rastafarians follow.

Maybe u need to read up more about what they believe in and what their way of life is and then convert to it. u may need to visit Jamaica to get the fullness.

go to bobo hill in St Thomas it is a place will only rastsa live they can give you the history about their religion and what it stands for.one of the principle of the rastas in bobo hill is that the women live seperate from the men the men on one side the women on the other.whenever women have their periods they will be cast out of the community until it is finished.every morning their is a roll call at 7am.this religion is not a joke you need to do a reseach about their beliefs and doctrine before you start to knot you hair.
