Cuba is a beautiful and friendly country. You will have to leave for Cuba from a country other than the United States. Ask to NOT have your passport stamped in Cuba. The U.S. immigration will not b happy to see Cuban stamp.
Cuba welcomes tourists from other countries. |

this has been covered so many times ON THIS STRING.. .that I can't imagine why you don't know that your passport is not even STAMPED... let along being taken.
The trick is, you have to fly in from another country... most people fly into Mexico and then fly Mexico City to Havanah.. AND you take CASH MONEY... you don't create a paper trail.. so leave the credit cards at home... it's CASH ONLY |

Where do people come up with these assumptions???
Any and every tourist is greeted with open arms in Cuba.
You have to understand, that this country has very little income as it is. Therefore, tourism is a big bread winner for the country. Which coincidentally, yes the government is communist, but quite frankly the people can give a flip. Most Cubans are just busy trying to make a living. |

Hi,
My family and friends are from San Francisco, California, all of them business people, USA citizens with US passports. I live in Mexico.
We all go to Cuba twice a year from Cancun, Habana and back to Cancun. It has been almost 10 years that we do it this way.
Cuban gobernment is very nice to NOT to stamp your passport.
Just do not take your credit cards to Cuba, they are not valid. Just get Euros or Mexican pesos in Mexico. US dollars are not accepted in Cuba unless you cash them in a Casa de Cambio (Exchange House) but US dls have a penalty of 10 percent, so do not take dls to Cuba.
That simple. |

not sure they are gonna take your passport away..but you will probably get in big trouble...unless you have family there..then you shouldn't want to support a communist country...come to miami..theres plenty of cubans here.. |

Yes.
Since cuba is a cummunist country they are enemies of the United States.
They may think you are working for one of the Intelligence Agencies and take away your passport. Or atleast question you. |

yes, and as stated above they are communist...so if obama gets in we'll probably be friends with cuba... |
