Can you imagine how u had already disqualified urself. Color has got nothin to do with it. I still controversially, believe Jamaica still has more mixed race genes than any other part of the Black world. If that should be the case, for every black mother/father there's a white father/mother. Go where u want to go and feel at home, if ur spirit doesn't go to Jamaica then, go else where.

Stop worrying Girl, it doesn't matter what your race-creed or sex, you would be welcomed with open arms. Jamaicans are innately friendly warm people, so you should have no problems. You would not be the only white person there - trust me. We have all races, so find a lovely resort and enjoy the experience and culture, you will want to go back again and again.

Well if you are in the tourist area such as Montego Bay, Negril or Ocho Rios you wont feel anyway. Even though Jamaica is a predominately black, there are still white people that live and work on the island.

Personal experience is the best indicator........

Jamaica is a melting pot whether people know it or not. There are people from everywhere there. My ex was Jamaican and Chinese. You can easily run into many races there including white, they are for the most part good natured and open people. and the only time i've seen Jamaicans be racist is actually to ignorant black Americans who perpetuate the negative stereotypes for any dark complected person.

So i think you'll be fine.

Yes, you will fit in! In fact, the Jamaican men might just love you. One thing about being a women traveling to Jamaica, I say becareful who you meet. When women from other countries come to Jamaica, the Jamaica men think we are rich and think they can benefit on what you have...Just keeping it real!! In addition, they start talking slang that they are going to marry us. I think that "Stella movie" got to much play and Jamaicans has to realize that is not reality just movie. Yes, it happen for Terry McMillan but Jonathan turned out to be GAY..
In addition, there are white and asian Jamaicas there also.
