Well, that depends on how much money you have and what type of life you want to live:

OPTION A
If you have NO money and want to improve your life:

1st - Live in Florida, 2nd - Visit Jamaica

Reason: There are more opportunities to improve your socio-economic standing in FL.

OPTION B
If you have moderate amounts of money and want to live a "moderate" but culturally rich life....FL wins again. You can get such a great blend of cultures. You can get a great balance between so many things.

OPTION C
Rich and flambouyant? Jamaica is your place. Money will go just as fast (or faster) in Jamaica. There many rules and regulations that can melt with a few bucks...Not all rules, but enough to buy the best of both worlds.... so long as you can maintain the spend.

OPTION D
Is money irrelevant to you? or at least a lower priority? You want a life with as little materialism as possible? Then Jamaica is your place. Actually, if you have more family and friends in Florida then it could be your place as well! the point is that if you are not giving socio-economic reasons priority, then either place will do.

- To Visit Jamaica.
- To live Florida.

Jamaica is a good place to live if you have good money and can set up a little business there or something , only downfall is that there aren't many job opportunities so if you have the money then go there cause it's beautiful and lots of vibes and much more ! I can't write it all. LOL

Florida has alot of hurricanes but prices are pretty cheap there because of the hurricanes so it all depends on what you want. The weather in Florida is extremely hot and humid.

You pick ( Jamaica nice sun, water and island breeze or Florida hurricane season all year round but cheap house prices ).

P.S. The person above me said Florida is the best place to shop, NO WAY New York is the BEST place to shop but I bought these high heels in Jamaica and have been getting compliments on them like crazy but I still say New York because it's the fashion capital of the world.

to visit....Jamaica because you can go to the beach without worrying about sharks and eventhough the sun is out the breeze wil be blowing so you wont be complainig about the heat like how we are here in florida.

to live... Florida its very family oriented and less violence. but to work i wouldnt advise anyone because they pay so cheap

florida to live (Jamaican income tax is 50%) but to visit jamaica all the way

this is not my name
depends on what youd rather, sea breeze(jamaica) or humid air(florida) but id live in both except florida has more oppurtunities, jobs etc.

live in florida retire on a beachfront home in jamaica

jamaica is a developing country with disease, great place to take a week vacation and stay at a resort, you know?

Florida is wehre I live and it is horrible, I live in orlando to be specific, and the traffic is horrifying, the summer heat is horrible, they call us the sunshine state but it rains everday of the summer in the afternoon which doesn't cool down the temperature, it just makes things even MORE HUMID. we get nice winters,(when the cold fronts come) it gets down to 50s-70s for a few days to a week and sometimes like last year it can get down to 28 degrees for a few hours. but then it warmed back up to like 45-50 then to 60.
plus the crime in orange county is bad,( i live in seminole county which is north of orange county where orlando is(downtown)) and it is very not nice. but they have made improvements to the highway and my neighborhood is very nice and we have the best public elementary and middle school in the state. (sabal point, and rock lake middle)

Think about it... you have a lot of weather problems(hurricanes, tornados, ... stuff) in Florida. And not to mention the US is not really like many other countries with the health care system.

I don't know. I wouldn't go to either. I may visit Jamaica because I've always wanted to, but other than that I think I'll stay put where I am. In CANADA!

Lol. It's really your choice.
