Jamaica questions, is it bad there? |
So, my aunt said she'd take me to jamaica. but my parents keep saying no, why? They say it's full of poor people, and people sometimes try to steal your stuff. Is it? And do u know a really pretty hotel that u just pay a certain amout of money and you get meals, and stuff free? with pool and beach nearby please! |

Let your parents know that the world is full of poor people. Jamaica is a beautiful place and I know you would have a wonderful time. As for hotel it depends on the where you are staying if you are staying in Kingston - Hilton is nice as for meals you would have to pay for that, for Ochie and Montego bay - Sunset Jamaica Grand if you are staying in Negril best hotel would be Grand Lido. Hope i could be of help |

The UK is "full of poor people" too at the minute.
Try going to the travel agent, sounds like your family has money |

Did you watch the olympics that should answer the question. like every where in the world there are good and bad places and people. so its for you to discover the beauty of the people and the island. |

Jamaica is not as dangerous as it once was, simply because tourism is the basis of the entire economy, and the industry does everything possible to insure the safety of the tourists. It is especially safe if you go to an all-inclusive resort as you will not need to venture out of the resort to dine or find activities. If you do wish to tour the area then the hotel will arrange the tour using reputable guides. Resorts also have their own security force which patrol the area 24 hours a day. I do hope your parents let you go, because it will be fantastic. |

It depends where you go to. Central city areas are best avoided unless you know what's what.
