i started vacationing in mobay years ago and would day tip to negril, rent a car and drive up. after my third time doing this i now go to negril....quieter, not that city feeling that mobay gives (which aint bad) plenty 'o beaches and more room to have fun. plus you can fill the spectrum of hotel choices, all-inclusive to up the west end budget stays... but that's just my opinion.
far as the best time.... course, dec (christmas time rocks in JA), jan, feb.... in that order. |

My husband and I went to Montego Bay and stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Resort. Wow we loved it, it is one of the biggest resorts and that staff are great. We went on spring break April 19th -24th. Most of the people who traveled there were from Canada, we're from NY, everyone was great. |

We always go in September(its alot cheaper that time of year and still hot) August is too hot. We have family in ochi but never go there. They come see us. we like mobay its close to the airport. once we land we just want to get to the resort instead of a long bus ride. Negril has a great 7 mile beach nice to take a day trip to. but my answer is september and mobay

My husband and I went to Montego Bay Jamaica on our Honeymoon this past march. The weather was beautiful... not too hot just right. If we ever go back I want to go to Ocho Rios. You're gonna love it there!!!! |
