Jamaicans have the best dancers in the world ?

Am I right ?
Cause Jamaicans don't choreograph there dances they just move to the beat. The music come on and a Jamaican dancer would just start dancing and making up new dances while he's dancing. Now Americans choreograph there dances that's why they need dance choreographers.

So Jamaicans have the best dancers in the world ? What's your opinion ?

yes we are best dancers in the world. we have the reggae and dancehall scene pon lock !!

Alicia M
well i wouldn't say in the world because there really is no measuring stick but they are good. yea and Bob D have you ever been to a Jamaican session most of these dance are made on the spot the songs are the after effect that popularizes these dances so everyone does them for awhile, by next week another session, new dance and the cycle continues and we really just move to the beat

Kacy
unless its for a performance then there is choreographing otherwise we just make up dances based on the happenings around. i do know we got more dance moves than any other country. there's like a new dance every other week/month, i cant even keep up with them, but they are fun . i love Jamaica.

DQNetty
it all depends on wat u call "best dancer" to be honest i agree jamaicans are the best dancers to reggae but not all fo dem can do di american dances but i think most of di american dances is trash anyway... maybe dats why we don't aunt jackie wit it and chicken noodle soup; we gully creep nd no linga

I'm Jamaican but every nation can make the same claim, I would say black people on a whole can claim this. We have that natural rythm, yuh si mi. Don't piss the Africans off, thats where we get that natural rythm

I would say Jamaicans are great dancers, on the whole Black people have a natural talent when it comes to dancing. We feel the music and our bodies respond. I think music - dancing is very much a part of who we are. Jamaicans are self taught - therein lies the beauty.

are you jamaican?

The Dance is a party of their culture. They have specific dances made up by their recording artists danced to certain songs they've recorded. Once you go into a club in Jamaica, you may see dancers just bobbing to the music. When a certain song comes on, you'll see them doing a specific dance move to the song.

I don't think they have the best dancers but they have fun and free dances and dancers. You just feel good and free rocking to the Reggae beat. Now Latin dances and dancers is what's up!

Bob D
Thats a stretch... in the WORLD ???

And I disagree. Jamaican songs themselves tell you how to dance, not much is made up. Everything from "pon da river", "brush your teeeth", "umbrella", to "hellicopter" ( why ya stop for ? ), and "I've seen love dance before"....theres LOTS of songs that EVERYONE does the same dance to.

Nice try girl ;-)
