St. Ann is a great place. There is a saying in Jamaica NO PROBLEM! Do some serious research. There are a lot of people from the US/Europe who have made Jamaica their homes never returning on the ticket they bought to go back from their Jamaica.

Negril is a wonderful place (THis is my most favourite) There is Portland, St Mary and of course St Elizabeth. If you love the rural life and want to be near the beach choose somewhere that is on the coast line.

omg!!! me too..safe ???? dunno..no place is 100% safe right..talk to some locals, find out where are some areas you need to be carefull around..there are lots of safe places to be..I was in St.Elizabeth and the folks there were wonderful to me more laid back I think.I never got to see as much as I wanted so I too am still looking ...BECAUSE...I am going back...oh yeahhhhh... Isn't it awesome? If you plan on living there ,go visit travel around and talk to the people.spend time .you'll find your place..or it will find you. It;s Jamaica how can you go wrong!!

Life in Jamaica is good it's hot/warm everyday and there is always a beach or river near by I say the best place to live is Montego Bay.

I never went to Jamaica, but i so want to go there!

Life there is good except for the crime which is everywhere. But if you wanted to live there the best place would be Montego Bay.
