Trinidad clothes, shoes and other items
Puerto Rico- my old love

Favourites for visiting

Safest
St Lucia, Dominica, Barbados, Grenada, (I do not hear anything much about some of these islands but that does not mean that nothing don't happen there).

Dangerous
Jamaica, Trinidad, (Based on news items, nothing have never happen to me in these places)

Best economies
Bermuda, Cayman, Bahamas, Barbados,

This is only what I hear about not necessarily personal experiences (economy and crime).

Favorite- Puerto Rico's islands of Vieques and Culebra, The Dominican Republic,Cuba,Turks and caicos, St Lucia.
Crime, it depends. Some islands report high crime but it is mostly no targeted towards tourist, others have lots of petty crime targeting tourist.
Economies: Gran Cayman,Puerto Rico,Bermuda,Barbados,Trinidad.

5 fav's- Bermuda, Barbados, Virgin Gorda, St Johns and Grand Turk 5 most dangerous- St Thomas, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Haiti and some Bahamas out islands. 5 best economies are The Caymans, US Virgins, British Virgins, Bermiuda and Barbados.

Just an interesting note reagarding the previous posters "favs" and "most dangerous";

I can tell you as somone who spends an extensive amount of time traveling in the Kitts, Nevis, Maarten, Barths, Anguilla islands that Kitts/Nevis (neighboring islands) is/are DEFINATELY to be put in the "most dangerous" column..they have had an INSANE number of murders in the last months to one year...so much that they have reportedly instituted public hangings....no joke. Not all these murders have necessarily been committed against tourists, but does it matter?
