Hello. There are plenty of things to do in Puerto Rico. You can go to El Yunque rain forest & swim in waterfalls or to one of the bioluminescent bays that glow in the dark. You can go to Arecibo Telescope (the worlds largest radio telescope) & to Camuy Caves. You can go to an indian park or to the Bacardi factory tour. Ponce has a lot to see also like Seralles Castle & Guanica dry forest. The central part of the island is all beautiful green mountains, its very pretty & calm. For beaches: if you like Miami beach then try Isla Verde in San Juan. If you want quiet white sand beaches then try Red Beach or SunBay beach on Vieques Island or Flamenco on Culebra Island. If you like to surf go to Rincon, there are great waves & beautiful sunsets. For a family try Luquillo beach. Also spend time in Old San Juan. There are gorgeous historical sights like El Morro Fort. There is tons of shopping, casinos, restaraunts & nightlife too. Also all over the island you will find good food, nice people & great views. Enjoy!
As well as the sites that have already been mentioned, you could take a look at my travel blog/guide for ideas.

This website is the website that will link you to many other sites that will give you loads of information as well as a ton of ideas of things that you can do when you go there. I grew up in PR as a kid and left in 1998, and I STILL have not done everything that is on this site!
