I still find that she needs a good Trini cut tail!

Yes love sometimes causes you to do foolish things..............but my concerns are:-

1. How could you do that to your parents? Didn't they raise and provided for you - as far as I am concerned you were under their roof so you had to at least respect them!

2. If something happens in the marrige will you run back to mammy and daddy?

3. Why did this guy last marriage failed? Could this be the reason why her parents were against the relationship?

4. WHy didn't his own father (a Pundit) married them?

5. How could he be comfortable in a a quickie marriage like this - I do believe that if you truly loved her you could have waited and reasoned with her parents - maybe with a help from a local religious person. I suppose now they will want nothing to do with you therefore putting a strain on this marriage!

If that was my child I would have blazed she backside.
All that worry and stress because she want to go get married and start making chirren.
How much you want to bet either she pregnant or the marriage will not last.
The waste of police time, the waste of everyone's time.
Nah, spend a night or two in jail and come home for you cut azz.

She was dead wrong but did anyone confirm if this was really true or somebody with another prank?

***I just read the Express. To me it seems her parents knew what was going on and they did not want to accept it.Not saying the girl was right BUT her parents blew up the issue because they did not like her boyfriend now husband.

Its a real shame what she put her parents, the police and indeed the country through.

However if you think about it they did nothing illegal. They are both adults and apparently there was no coercion or force used. Its just a sign of the times how we get so panicky when you cannot account for someone for a few hours.

But I vex with the newspapers for glorifying this incident. The way they carrying on about "true love" etc. I am sure some other stupid young people looking at this incident now and thinking of doing the same thing.
