Probability 9/10...i would say he is using you. he has one or two girlfriends in Jamaica, anyway. I cant think of a SINGLE case in all my years where i have observed an example of the kind of relationship you described turning out to be anything but a strategic move for a visa or a green card!

Men (Jamaican or other) don't sit and waiting around, sweating out long distance relationships for people who they 'hardly know'.

He is angry because you found out about him asking the other girl for money. That is not right that he did this and without you knowing. I am not saying that there is something going on but why would he do that. If I was you I would forget about him. He needs to find a job and stop begging women for money.

Very strange that your boyfriend and your ex-friend was talking and then she called you and give you info on him? Did she give you this info because you found out that they are talking?

If I was in your shoes i would cancel my trip because I would be down there by myself 1 and 2, I might call him if I am there. Forget bout thee man and let he ga long!

no it doesnt sound like he's just letting you sweat it out. sounds like he doesnt want to talk to you anymore. i would leave him alone and see if he contacts you.

Whats sad is that you're ending a friendship over a man you hardly know, a sex buddy. Most likely he was using you and your friend. If you really think he's sitting around waiting on you, then you are very naive. There are plenty of men in Jamaica you don't need to be around him to have a good time. If he really cared he would have put some effort forth and wouldn't be asking other females for money in addition to taking yours. Wake up to reality, the sex may have been great but that's all it was. Don't try to make a relationship from an island fling, and remember you aren't running a charity. It's not your job to give him or any other man, money or gifts. Leave him alone and move on. Never beg a man to take you back especially when he was the one who was in the wrong. If you want a relationship find someone closer to home and that can bring something to the table.

Green Cards are not easy to get and neither are Visitors Visas for that matter. Your Jamaican friend knows that already, so just chalk it up to what it is...you met a guys while on holiday and you are going back to see him. Jamaica is such a nice place to visit, go as planned and see what happens. I would text or call him again a few days before you leave to remind him you are coming and see if you hear back. If you don't hear back from him, at the least, you spend some more time in Jamaica again. As you know, the men are plentiful there. You will not be alone.......
