The time of year really matters for all-inclusives. If it's not high season, then you can get a lot of good deals on expensive all-inclusive resorts. Different agencies specialize in different resorts, and different agencies specialize in resort + air packages depending on where you are coming from.
Beware of all-inclusive resorts that are much less expensive than the others. They can be a real nightmare with horrible food, long lines at the bar, watered down drinks, etc. If it's way cheaper than the others, it may even be undergoing noisy rennovations. Before choosing a resort, google the name of it along with the word 'review' or 'trip report' |

When it comes to all-inclusives cheaper is not necessarily better. You won't get the same experience you get at Starfish as say...Sandals.
Then again its up to you guys..........some ppl are really fussy and they make everything bother them, if you and your fiance are not easily bothered then you will enjoy yourselves wherever you are.

I would recommend something more villa-ish like in Treasure Beach and Portland for a honeymoon. These places are usually more romantic. Some come with their own cooks and all so you will not have to miss the all-inclusive experience. A small beahfont villa may do you well.

Take Air Jamaica and go to the Rose Hall Resort and Country Club in Montego Bay. It used to called the Wyndham Resort. It has a huge pool~great rooms~all inclusive~massages~etc.
search it up on google or google images :) |
