My fiance and I want to elope to the carribean. I have never been there. Which Island?

We want to stay at a reort that offers cheap wedding services. Its just th two of us. All the Island are so different I have no idea where to start. We want nice beaches, spas, restaurants, shopping and a little bit of nightlife. (but not an off the hook party island) Any suggestions?

Don't know if you have passports, but you need them to travel to the Caribbean. If you are a US citizen, you can travel to the US Virgin Islands without a passport.

My choice would be the US Virgin Islands, St John. Beautiful island with shopping, gorgeous beaches, plenty of restaurants and very romantic. They do weddings there all the time on the beach.

check this site out, it gives you so much information.

Good Luck)

Be sure to check out the legal side of the marriage. Some islands require you to be on the island for a certain number of days between the application and the wedding. St Lucia is seven days for example.

I suggest St. Lucia. A small island that you could have the fun and secusion. Small enough with a lot to do and see. Beatiful beach, different foods (restaurants) to eat out, night life is buzzing with natives who are friendly and more than willing to cater to you, and etc. shoot me and email.

as an American, you cant beat the US Virgin Islands especially St Thomas.....and Bolongo Bay for your wedding....we have all you're asking for......

Aruba....I have been there and the weather and the beaches are beautiful. Because the island is outside of the hurricane belt and is a desert island, rainfall is rare so you should expect NO rain. As a result, the travel to the island can be expensive but trust me, for a wedding, you will not regret it.
